Chiropractic

Chiropractic medicine is a comprehensive health care profession that addresses the wide variety of factors that impact upon human physiology. Chiropractic physicians specialize in natural, non-invasive health care and are trained to use a full range of medical diagnostic tools and a wide array of effective treatment options in patient care. We primarily utilize the Diversified technique for adjusting but are proficient in Gonstead, Thompson Drop, and Activator.

Dry Needling

Dry needling uses a small, acupuncture style needle which is inserted in a contracted or painful knotted muscle to create a local twitch reflex which is both diagnostic and therapeutic. It is the first step in breaking the pain cycle and as research shows, will decrease muscle tightness, reduce irritation, improve flexibility and decrease pain. Most patients report a significant decrease in pain immediately after a session.

Cupping Therapy

Traditionally, cupping is most often used in the treatment of pain, particularly when soft tissue restriction is the cause or major contributing factor. We choose to integrate cupping into our practice due to its extraordinary ability to stretch and loosen superficial surgical scarring and fascial restrictions.
